Goals

The Graduate Program in Animal Biology of UFV aims at forming human resources skilled in the basic area of Zoology, in the research line of Biodiversity and Conservation, able to perform activities related to the characterization, conservation and management of animal diversity, within an evolutionary and ecological perspective, with applicability of concepts and techniques in research, education, environmental projects and animal production. To reach this goal, the Master’s Program provides a solid formation in Zoology, Ecology, Evolution, Taxonomy, Behavior, Physiology and Pathology, integrating knowledge under an environmental perspective. The Master’s Program duration is 24 months.
